Residence – Convenient Living On Campus
Consider living in one of Carleton’s residences, a place you can call home. Our residences offer you the convenience and safety of living just minutes away from your classes, the Library, and University sports facilities, and all of them are connected to Carleton’s network of heated, well-lit tunnels that link the entire campus.
There is a separate residence on campus for graduate students, with single rooms in single-gender or co-ed living environments. The building is equipped with study and television aread, kitchen facilities, as well as a laundry room and open areas for group gatherings.
There are no facilities on campus for married students.

Living Off Campus
Off-campus living is another option for you and there is a variety of accommodation available near campus, within an easy walk or bicycle ride. The University is well-serviced by several bus routes, as well as a new Light Rail train system that crosses central campus. If you do choose to live off campus, be prepared to spend some time looking for an appropriate place — our Housing Office provides an off-campus housing service to assist you in the process.
