Ottawa International Writers Festival
The spring edition of the Ottawa International Writers Festival runs from April 26th to 30th, at a variety of locations. The Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences has arranged that Carleton students need only show their student ID (subject of course to capacity limits at the venue) for free entry to the “main stage” events of the Festival.
Speakers this spring include CBC reporter and Journalism alumna Nahlah Ayed, and Carleton sociology professor Jacqueline Kennelly. The Festival will feature an interesting mix of writers of poetry and prose, fiction and non-fiction.
