Home / Examination Services

CUOL administers and facilitates the “unofficial” midterm exams for both the on-campus and off-campus CUOL students, and will sit these mid terms simultaneously. Exams are scheduled on Friday evenings and/or Saturdays.

CUOL students who live within a 100 km radius of Carleton University write their examinations locally (on-campus). Local students do not apply for exam services. Local students with disabilities who have registered with Paul Menton Centre will have their exam arrangements made by the McIntyre Exam Centre (MEC).  Questions regarding these exams may be directed to the CUOL Exam Coordinator.

Students who are outside of 100 km of Carleton University are considered for the purpose of exams as “Off –Campus” Students. These students write exams at either a Carleton University Test Centre or in specific circumstances with an arranged proctor. To determine where you will write and how you will your exam you must use the Exam Wizard.

Only applications received by the appropriate deadlines will be processed. Late applications may be considered, and if accepted the student will be subject to a late charge. Click here to view CUOL charges and deadlines.
